Installation

1. Measure and Plan

Confirm the required channel length, installation position, LED strip width, wiring route, and drywall opening before beginning installation.

2. Confirm LED Strip Compatibility

Check that the LED strip is no wider than approximately 12mm before installing it inside the TX-340 channel.

3. Confirm Profile Orientation

Check the orientation of the single lower-edge structure before installation so the profile is positioned correctly for the intended architectural detail.

4. Prepare the Drywall or Plasterboard

Prepare the installation area according to the TX-340 profile dimensions and the planned position of the channel.

5. Position the Aluminum Channel

Install the TX-340 profile into the prepared drywall or plasterboard structure. Make sure the channel is straight, correctly oriented, and securely positioned before completing the surrounding surface.

6. Finish the Plaster-In Area

Apply the appropriate plaster or drywall finishing material around the profile to create a clean transition between the aluminum channel and surrounding surface.

7. Install the LED Strip

Clean the internal mounting surface before applying the LED strip. Position the strip evenly inside the channel and make sure it is securely attached.

8. Route the Wiring

Complete the required cable routing and make sure sufficient access is maintained for the LED strip and power connection.

9. Install the PC Diffuser

Fit the supplied milky white PC diffuser onto the aluminum channel after the LED strip and wiring are correctly positioned.

10. Test the Lighting

Test the LED strip before completing the final surface finish to confirm correct operation and satisfactory light distribution.

11. Complete the Final Finish

After testing, complete any remaining plaster, sanding, painting, or surrounding surface finishing required for the project.
